Department stores and mail-order catalogues
The seller sell mode of merchandise in the market, I will introduce two type of sell mode over there. One is department stores, and the other is mail-order catalogues. There are three different points: shopping time, fit or not, touch and feel the merchandise. Department stores have to build a large building and gathered every kind of manufacturer in there. Nevertheless, mail-order just only put the list on the Internet or paper. Yet, both department stores and mail-order catalogues have same goal are make money.
With regard to shopping time, mail-order catalogues are more abstemious than department stores. Because of the Internet, we can buy many categories of merchandise on there. The point is who want go shopping then you should leave home and go to outside in department stores. On the other hand, mail-order catalogues just want you sitting on your sofa, opening your computer and shopping by yourself.
On personal service aspects, mail-order catalogues differ from department stores. Unlike department stores, which give to customers fitting room service and let they to know fit or not, mail-order catalogues are disability. Whenever, mail-order catalogues provide us with immediate information about clothes.
Despite mail-order catalogues are very convenience, you can't touch and feel the merchandise while you watch it. In contrast, department stores are made shopper touch, fit, feel, eat and watch even though you won't buy it.
Although mail-order catalogues have the advantage of convenience for shopper, we can't ensure that the quality of merchandise whether it is find. Also have one risk we could buy the second-hand goods when you open it. No matter how, I prefer department stores due to you can try on that shirt before you buy it.
